Mariano Obligado is the founder of levelUp. His Talent Acquisition background combines operations, assessment judgment, and process design — with an early focus on how technology can accelerate screening and decisions without sacrificing quality.

With 15 years of experience, levelUp now helps companies bring AI into recruiting: diagnosis, agent and workflow implementation, documentation, and AI Fluency enablement — so the human in the loop is more productive and candidate experience stays protected.

Recruiting scales when it is designed as a system, regardless of the tool.

FAQ

What levelUp does — and what it doesn’t.

Straight answers for Talent Acquisition teams that want to bring AI into the process with judgment.

What does levelUp do?

We implement AI in recruiting processes: diagnosis, design and implementation of agents and workflows, documentation, and team enablement. The goal is to speed up what’s repeatable and leave decisions where they belong: with the team.

Are you a search firm or a software vendor?

No. We’re an implementation consultancy. We don’t sell licenses and we don’t operate as a search firm. We adapt to the stack you already use (ATS, LLMs, automation tools) and design the system around your process.

How do engagements start?

We start with a process diagnosis. Then we propose scope, implementation, and enablement. Engagement is typically project-based, with an optional retainer when ongoing evolution is needed.

What does implementing AI in recruiting mean?

Finding which process layer hurts most (intake, screening, candidate experience, offer…), defining guardrails and human judgment, and building automations that better prepare the work — without punishing candidate experience.

Where should a team start?

By measuring readiness and detecting the priority painpoint before automating. You can use our diagnosis tools or book a conversation to map the process together.

Do you also train teams?

Yes. We offer corporate training in Recruiting Management + AI so the team operating the system has judgment, metrics, and applied practice.
